Returns, Withdrawal & Shipping
As a consumer, you buy from professional sellers on Knalveilingen. That means you generally have a statutory right of withdrawal — including on won auctions. Here's how that works, along with our shipping and delivery information.
14-day right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw your purchase within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason. This cooling-off period also applies to items you won in an online auction: an online auction from a business to a consumer does not fall under the statutory exception for public auctions, so the right of withdrawal simply applies.
How to withdraw
Notify us of your withdrawal within the period using our model withdrawal form, or with another unambiguous statement via the contact page. You then have 14 days to return the product. The direct cost of returning it is for your own account, unless stated otherwise.
Refunds
After a valid withdrawal, we refund the full purchase amount — including any standard shipping costs paid — within 14 days, using the same payment method. We may wait to refund you until we've received the product back, or until you've shown proof you've sent it.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to, among others: products sealed for hygiene reasons once the seal is broken, products that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life, and products made to your specifications. We flag it on a specific lot whenever an exception applies.
Condition of the product: during the cooling-off period you may inspect the product as you would in a shop. If you go beyond that, we may charge you for any reduction in value.
Shipping & delivery
Won lots and orders can — depending on the seller — be delivered or picked up. Shipping costs and, where applicable, a free-shipping threshold are shown clearly before checkout. There are no shipping costs when picking up. The expected delivery or pickup time is shown with your order.
