Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing.
Article 3. Registration and use

The user is responsible for use of the account and must immediately report loss or misuse of login details to Knalveilingen.com.
Knalveilingen.com may block accounts, refuse participation or exclude users.

Article 4. Platform function
Knalveilingen.com acts as a seller or intermediary.
The seller of each lot is indicated per listing.
For partner listings, the agreement is formed directly between buyer and seller.
Payments are processed via a payment provider and may be held temporarily.
Article 5. Auction process
Knalveilingen.com determines how auctions run.
The platform may set bid increments, refuse bids and change or cancel auctions.
A bid placed in the final 30 seconds automatically extends the auction (repeatable).
Bids are binding and irrevocable.
The highest bidder is obliged to complete the purchase.
Lots are sold 'as is'.
Obvious errors (for example, a clearly incorrect starting price) do not bind the platform.
Bids may be declared void in cases of fraud or misuse.
Article 6. Bids, costs and buyer's commission
Bids are exclusive of VAT and buyer's commission.
Buyer's commission is 4.99% (excl. VAT).
Placing a bid itself is, and always will be, completely free, regardless of how often you bid or are outbid, you do not need bid credits, bid packages or a subscription. Buyer's commission and VAT are owed only by the buyer who actually wins the lot, and are always shown before a bid is confirmed.
Total price = bid + commission + VAT + any additional costs.
The platform displays a real-time price indication.
By bidding, the user accepts all associated costs.
No rights can be derived from calculation errors.
Article 7. Outlet
Fixed-price sale; the purchase agreement is formed directly upon payment.
The right of withdrawal applies where legally required (see Article 13).
Unless a different delivery time is stated for the product, Knalveilingen.com or the relevant partner will deliver the purchased product within 30 days of purchase, in accordance with the statutory provisions of Article 7:9a of the Dutch Civil Code. If this term is not met, the buyer may terminate the agreement free of charge.
Article 8. Payment
Payment via the offered methods.
Auction: payment within 48 hours. Outlet: pay directly.
Non-payment may result in termination, exclusion and a claim for damages.
Set-off or suspension of payment is not permitted.
Article 9. Delivery and ownership
Delivery via shipping or pickup.
Risk transfers upon delivery or pickup.
Ownership only transfers after payment in full.
Costs may be charged for late pickup.
Where the seller arranges shipping, responsibility lies with the seller.
Article 10. Warranty and conformity
For purchases via the outlet, the statutory conformity warranty under Article 7:17 of the Dutch Civil Code applies: the delivered product must conform to the agreement.
Lots purchased via an auction are sold 'as is' (see Article 5); the statutory conformity warranty does not apply to these in full, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Complaints about a defect must be reported to customer service as soon as possible, and no later than two (2) months after discovery.
Article 11. Sellers (partners)
Sellers are responsible for accurate information, compliance with legislation and delivery.
In the event of non-delivery, the agreement may be terminated and refunded, and Knalveilingen.com may seek recourse against the seller.
Payout follows completion of the transaction.
Poor performance may lead to exclusion.
Affiliated partners are additionally bound by the arrangements set out in the Partner Agreement (see Article 22).
Article 12. Liability
No liability for the conduct of sellers, product quality, or transport by third parties.
No guarantee of error-free operation of the platform; no liability for outages.
Liability is limited to the amount paid, except in cases of intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of Knalveilingen.com.
Article 13. Right of withdrawal
- For purchases via the outlet and for lots won via an auction, consumers have a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days after receipt of the product. An online auction from a business to a consumer does not fall under the statutory exception for public (physical) auctions, so the right of withdrawal also applies to won auction lots.
- Within this period, the consumer may terminate the agreement without giving any reason.
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- custom-made or personalised products
- experiences with a fixed date, once the service has commenced
- products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken
- The cost of returning the product is borne by the buyer, unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds are made within 14 days of receipt of the returned product, provided the return conditions have been met.
Article 14. Fraud and misuse
- It is prohibited to:
- place false or misleading bids
- engage in price manipulation
- use multiple accounts to improperly influence auctions

- In the event of suspected fraud, Knalveilingen.com may share data with the competent authorities.
Article 15. Complaints and dispute resolution
- Complaints must be reported to customer service within a reasonable time after discovery.
- The complaint must be described fully and clearly.
- Knalveilingen.com aims to handle complaints within 14 days.
- If more time is needed, the user will be informed of the expected timeframe.
- Disputes between buyer and seller are first resolved between the parties themselves; Knalveilingen.com may mediate but is not obliged to do so.
- Consumers within the European Union may also submit a dispute to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform via ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Article 16. Force majeure

Knalveilingen.com may amend these terms and conditions. An amended version will be published on this page, stating the effective date.

Article 21. Governing law and disputes
- Dutch law applies to all agreements.
- Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
- The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes by mutual consultation.
Article 22. Relationship to Partner Agreements
- Affiliated partners (Sellers) offering products via the Platform are, in addition to these terms and conditions, also bound by an individual Partner Agreement with Knalveilingen.com, which sets out, among other things, commission percentages, payout terms, minimum supply requirements and any exclusivity arrangements.
- These terms and conditions apply in full to all users, including partners, and apply in addition to the Partner Agreement.
- To the extent a provision in the Partner Agreement deviates from these terms and conditions, the Partner Agreement between Knalveilingen.com and the relevant partner prevails on that specific subject; for all other subjects, including platform use, the auction process, fraud and misuse, privacy and governing law, these terms and conditions remain fully in effect.
Article 23. Final provisions
If any provision of these terms is found to be null or voidable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The parties will replace the invalid provision with a provision that most closely approximates the original intent.
Important: By using Knalveilingen.com, the user agrees to these terms and conditions. Last amended: 09-07-2026.
Payment term and non-payment
A bid is binding. If you win an auction or buy an outlet item, a purchase agreement is formed and you are obliged to pay.
- Payment is due within 96 hours (4 days) of the order being created. The exact deadline is shown on your order and in the confirmation email.
- You will receive email reminders before that deadline passes.
- Once the deadline has passed you will receive a reminder every day, and you cannot place new bids while the payment is outstanding.
- If payment has still not been received 7 days after the order was created, the order is cancelled definitively. The item is offered for sale again, and a payment received after that point no longer entitles you to the item; we will refund it or offset it against outstanding claims.
- For a cancelled order we charge you the commission we lost, and your account is barred from placing new bids until that claim is paid or written off by us.
- In case of repeated non-payment the block may remain in place even after the claim has been paid. Reinstatement then only follows our review.
How an auction runs and binding bids
We determine how each auction runs, how long it lasts and under which conditions. For every auction we state:
- the description of the lot;
- the starting price;
- the bid increments, where applicable;
- the end date and end time;
- any additional costs;
- the seller of the lot.
- You can only bid when you are logged in, are 18 or older and meet the other conditions for taking part.
- A bid is placed knowingly and actively. Placing a bid counts as an offer to buy at the amount bid, plus the VAT, buyer commission and any other costs disclosed at the time of bidding.
- A bid placed is binding and cannot be withdrawn unilaterally, except where the law gives you that right.
- The highest valid bidder at the end of the auction is deemed the buyer, after award where an award applies.
- Winning an auction forms a purchase agreement, obliging you to pay the full amount due and to take delivery of the lot, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a buyer.
- If a valid bid is placed in the last 30 seconds of an auction, the auction is extended automatically. That extension can repeat for as long as bids keep coming in during the closing seconds.
- We may declare bids invalid in case of fraud, abuse, technical errors, price manipulation or other circumstances that mean a bid cannot be regarded as valid.
- Obvious errors in an auction, such as a clearly incorrect price, description or setting, may be corrected by us, or may lead to the auction being cancelled.
Bid amount, buyer commission and costs
- The bid you place is the amount excluding VAT and buyer commission, unless the lot expressly states otherwise.
- The buyer commission is 4.99% excluding VAT, unless the lot states otherwise.
- Before you confirm a bid, we show the relevant additional costs, including VAT and buyer commission where applicable.
- If you win an auction, you owe the full amount disclosed before or when the bid was placed.
- Winning an auction gives no right to pay only the bid amount where VAT, buyer commission or other applicable costs disclosed in advance are also due.
- A real-time price indication on the platform is for information only. Where there is an obvious technical or arithmetical error, we may correct it.
Formal notice, debt collection and court enforcement
If payment is still not made after the payment term and the reminders that go with it, the following also applies.
- Where required, you receive a formal demand or notice of default granting a reasonable additional period for payment.
- If payment is still not made, we may, as far as the law allows: terminate the agreement; offer the lot for sale again; exclude you from further auctions; recover demonstrable damages; transfer the claim to a collection agency or legal service provider; and charge statutory interest and extrajudicial collection costs where the statutory requirements for doing so are met.
- Not paying for a won auction does not automatically undo the original bid. The obligation to pay remains until the agreement has been validly terminated or the claim has otherwise been settled or has lapsed.
- If a claim remains unpaid despite reminders, we may take further legal steps, including court collection proceedings. A judgment or other enforceable title obtained may be enforced by a bailiff in accordance with the law.
- If an order is cancelled or terminated for non-payment and we suffer demonstrable damage as a result, that damage may be recovered from you as far as the law allows.
- Any refunds are made solely in accordance with applicable law and these terms.
